Growing OUR Firm to Best Protect YOUR Future: LOODPS Hires 3rd Attorney Plus Legal Assistant
Ally F. Keegan, Esq.
We are pleased to announce the addition of Ally F. Keegan as the Firm's third attorney. Already having been recognized, by LawFirm500, as one of the fastest growing small law firms in the country, the addition of Ms. Keegan enables the Firm to help even more people regain control of their future when charged with a crime. Ally graduated from Villanova University before going on to earn her law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law with a concentration in criminal litigation. She sits on the Professional Advancement Committee, as well as the Women's and Reproductive Justice Advocacy Committees with the Lawyers Club of San Diego. Ms. Keegan is also a founding member and past president of the new San Diego chapter of the National Women's Political Caucus. With extensive experience at the federal and state level, Ally will be an integral part of our team for years to come.
Alyssa Rodriguez
Alyssa Rodriguez started with the Firm earlier this month. The Firm’s lone San Diego native, Alyssa has spent the past decade-plus studying and working within California’s criminal justice system. Fluent in Spanish, Alyssa began her legal career at the San Diego Superior courts with Pretrial Services. Working primarily at the Chula Vista and downtown San Diego courthouses, she played an integral role in the first appearance of many criminally accused, interviewing in-custody defendants and then making release recommendations to the judge. Relocating to the Bay Area, Alyssa soon began working with the Record Clearance Project, simultaneously obtaining a Master’s degree at San Jose State University in Justice Studies. Alyssa states she was drawn to the LOODPS family due to the Firm's honesty, zealous advocacy, and outstanding customer service. We are thrilled she decided to join our team!
LOODPS Launches Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Fundraiser
We announced in the December eNewsletter that David P. Shapiro was nominated as a candidate for the 2020 Man of the Year campaign for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The ten-week fundraising campaign got underway April 9. We set the bar high before Covid-19, and kept it high, even as our sense of “normalcy” has taken a hit the past month. Cancer doesn’t take a day off, and neither shall we. Please consider helping out any way you can by donating and/or joining the fundraising team via David's fundraising page.
