• Handle criminal cases from initial consultation through resolution in both state and federal courts within San Diego County.
• With the support of the Firm, generate, cultivate, and convert viable clients with an overall goal to increase the Firm’s revenue.
• Be a team player and serve as a reinforcement to the other attorneys at the Firm when needed.
• Candidates must have experience as a practicing criminal attorney in California, preferably in San Diego County
• We are looking for someone with exemplary problem-solving, negotiation, communication, and time management skills who can hit the ground running.
• Quality over quantity (in years) of experience is what matters most. Equally important is the candidate’s personality, character, intelligence, and overall integrity.
• Fluency in written and spoken Spanish is preferred, but not required.

• The compensation package includes a base salary commensurate with skill and experience, plus substantial bonus compensation for revenue generated for the Firm.
• We offer annual health care expense reimbursement of $5,450, a generous PTO/Sick time policy, up to $5,250 per year in tax-free student loan and tuition repayment. and a 401(k) plan with a 4% Firm match. Additional benefits are in the works for 2023 and beyond.

This executive-level position will be responsible for a myriad of activities in all phases of administration, personnel, finances, facilities, and business systems. The candidate will be expected to drive revenue growth and increase profitability. This position will be expected to expand upon the Firm’s existing strong culture of integrity, efficiency, and collaboration, providing unsurpassed service to its clients and the San Diego community. This position will have significant discretion and broad responsibility for the management of the Firm’s business operations and the supervision of its employees. The Administrator will report to, and work under the direction of the Owner.
This is not a position for an “Office Manager” or an “Administrative Assistant.” We need someone with hands-on experience, having previously worked with a law firm that had at least a $3 Million budget, and who has managed a team of at least 10 people. Knowledge of criminal law will be helpful but is not required. Candidates need not be a licensed California attorney.
