How will you make a difference as a lawyer? With the right tools, a person can make a positive impact on the world. A law degree is one of those tools. An announcement has been made by David P. Shapiro Criminal Defense Attorneys that it will be offering a scholarship for law students in the amount of $1,000. The scholarship will be used to assist in the payment of tuition to law school for the selected applicant.
Mr. Shapiro recognizes that obtaining a law degree is an expensive process, which is why he and his law firm are offering one law student this scholarship to help (at least partly) defray the cost of attending law school.
This is a single scholarship in the amount of $1,000. It will be used by the successful applicant to offset the cost of law school tuition at a United States law school accredited by the American Bar Association. You need not be enrolled in law school at the time of your application, but you must provide us, within one year of being selected as the winner of the award, the name of the ABA-approved law school you will be attending, along with proof of your acceptance at the law school. The scholarship funds will be paid directly to the law school on your behalf.
The scholarship is open to applicants who are citizens of the United States who are attending law school or who plan to do so within the time frame set forth above.
The application must be completed, along with any uploads, on or before February 2, 2018.
To be considered for the award, you must complete the application, including the following:
The winner of the scholarship shall be chosen by David P. Shapiro Criminal Defense Attorneys, in its sole discretion. The decision will be made on or before March 2, 2018. The winner will be notified of the decision by email.
When you furnish information to us, it becomes the property of David P. Shapiro Criminal Defense Attorneys. We do not sell or disseminate that information to third parties, except to report on, or publicize, our scholarship program.
